Professional Advocacy at Your Side

Having someone with you at the meeting may be exactly what you need. I will be there fully prepared and ready to advocate for your child's needs. You'll also be provided with follow up support.

- All of the services included in the Comprehensive Record Review package, with a slight shift in focus for our consultation meetings
- First forty-five minute virtual consultation to hear your concerns and impressions of the situation
- One full-hour virtual consultation to prepare and plan for your school meeting
- Draft written statements to be included in the IEP that represent your voice and your child's voice (Parent Concerns section of the IEP, Vision Statement)
- Virtual attendance in the eligibility meeting or for the IEP/504 meeting
- Draft meeting follow-up email for you to send to the school
- Review newly created Section 504 plan
- Review newly created IEP for accuracy, before you sign
- Follow up forty-five minute virtual consultation meeting 30 days after the IEP/504 plan has been implemented
Problem Solving

Some situations are more complicated than others. When agreement cannot be met I will provide you with strategies to help facilitate solutions as well as offer non-legal guidance through dispute resolution options.

Services available to add to a package
- Therapeutic guidance for social-emotional or behavioral difficulties
- Preparation and attendance at manifestation meetings
Manifestation meetings are required when a student receiving specialized education is suspended for more than 10 days during a school year. Team members meet to determine if the behavior, which resulted in suspension, is a manifestation of the student's disability.

In-person attendance depends on where your school is located within Massachusetts
